Do you have little ones at home or have nieces and nephews from out of town visiting for the Easter holiday this weekend? If you're not feeling up to planning your own Easter egg hunt, there are a few opportunities to give them the full Easter egg hunt experience throughout the Golden area. All you have to remember is to bring your own basket!
Bunny Express Train
The Easter bunny and Spike the Railroad Hound will be handing out candy aboard the Bunny Express Train at the Colorado Railroad Museum. The event takes place Saturday from 10 AM - 4 PM. Admission for children ages 2-15 is $5. Tickets are available online.
The Golden Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Kiwanis Club and Downtown Merchants Association takes place Saturday from 10 AM - 11 AM in Parfet Park. It is free to attend. Outlook Golden Ridge is just 3 miles away from Parfet Park!
If you want to take a longer trip for your egg hunt, there are also many venues organizing their own egg hunts in Denver. Outlook Golden Ridge apartment homes is a 25 minute drive from Denver.
Helicopter Egg DropThis event sounds like fun for the adults, too! 25,000 eggs filled with candy and treats will be dropped from the sky onto the lawn at The Potter's House of Denver. Registration is required.
Bunny Trail EggventureThe Children's Museum of Denver event features egg dying, crafts, treats and story time. You can visit the eggventure Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM. Admission is $9.
Mile High Flea Market Easter Egg Candy HuntCandy-filled eggs will be hidden throughout the flea market from 9 AM - noon on Saturday. There is no cost for children 12 and under, adults are $3.
