For the perfect weekend getaway, head to Aspen Meadows Campground in Golden Gate Canyon State Park. It is only a little over a 35-minute drive from your home at Outlook Golden Ridge. This is the perfect place for anyone who wants to feel away from it all in seclusion. Stargaze at the beautiful sky during the night, and then participate in another outdoor activity offered at the park during the day, such as horseback riding or rock climbing. Chamberlin Observatory

The University of Denver’s Chamberlin Observatory is the right fit for anyone who prefers an educational presentation along with being able to view the gorgeous night sky. Attending the observatory, instead of stargazing off on your own, is a whole different way to experience the beauty of the universe.
