This is the perfect place for anyone who wants to feel away from it all in seclusion. Stargaze at the beautiful sky during the night, and then participate in another outdoor activity offered at the park during the day, such as horseback riding or rock climbing. Just pay the parking fee and the weekend is yours to get away from it all and gaze upon the universe!
Chamberlin Observatory
The University of Denver’s Chamberlin Observatory is the right fit for anyone who prefers an educational presentation along with being able to view the gorgeous night sky. Attending the observatory, instead of stargazing off on your own, is a whole different way to experience the beauty of the universe. This is also a great place to bring along any youngsters in your life. You won’t have to break the bank either. Admission is $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for children.
The UFO Watchtower
If you’re the kind of person who enjoys longer road trips, the UFO Watchtower is a great choice for anyone seeking stargazing opportunities. A little over a three-hour drive brings you to this extremely clear view of the sky. You may even witness some of the extraterrestrial activity that is rumored to go on there! Entrance is $2.00 a person, $5.00 a car, or $10.00 to camp there for the night.
